Tangle Tree Ranch CSA
At Tangle Tree Ranch, we grow food for you, us and our animals. We grow vegetables, fruits, grass that is cut for hay, flowers to brighten our lives, and animals to eat. We even have animals the produces wool and mohair to make clothing out of.
Our produce is hand selected for ripeness, so their taste is superb. Our produce is produced with taste, color and appearance in mind. We use organic methods in our farming, but are not organic certified. Unusual, taste and color is important to us. So no boring green beans or just red tomatoes. Our land has not been sprayed for twenty some years, and is located right north of Doyon, in Ramsey County, ND.
A weeks CSA bag from us can contain 6 eggs, a pound or two with potatoes, some cucumbers, beets, greens and maybe a package of grass fed beef or lamb chops. We also have honey bees on our land, so we share our share of the bee production with our costumers. Basically, we share what we produce with our customers.
We can not guaranty any amount of anything we grow, due to Mother Nature. But that is part of farming, or ranching. We strive to do our absolute best with our production of our food, but there are just some elements that can not be controlled. It is also a big difference from growing fruits and vegetables in town, compare to an open field, like we do.
